Keeping Warm Essentials: Daytime

So obviously, the season Winter, mainly involves the weather getting colder. I can't really say I enjoy this but I think if Christmas had no cold weather or snow then it wouldn't be the same.
Anyway there are ways to keep warm during winter so that it can be better for you during the day. I was going to do always in general but I feel there is enough to make 2 posts about it.

1. Hat
Now saying this I hate hats. I don't wear them and I don't think I suit them but some hats might look good on you and honestly? I would recommend them though because you shouldn't suffer for fashion. ... Even though I do.

This hat is from River Island and is a Black chain trim beanie hat. It had also been said that Rihanna likes it and I think that beanies are worn by alot of people and look really good. I would suggest beanies to people with long hair but I think it can be for any depending on the way it is worn. I think the chain also shows bling which is an extra accessory to add.

2. Scarf
Scarfs are something that I wear quite alot. I like them in Autumn aswell as Winter and I think they are a nice accessory that also has a good use other than looking good. I like buying scarfs mainly from Primark but seeing as Primark dont have a website I decided to choose Topshop as they also have a good range.

This is a Super Fluffy Scarf for £16.00  from Topshop that I think is great for winter. With it being super fluffy, I think it would be soft which is important because it would be warmer and more comfortable on the skin. It is a plain black scarf but can still be effective to wear with outfits but can also make it easier to fit and look okay. It could be considered expensive but similar scarfs can be bought at shops such as Primark and New Look.

3. Gloves

These gloves are from Forever 21 and I just think they are so cute! I like gloves with open fingers as it makes them more practical and I have noticed in the passed that some gloves make touch screen phones harder to use. I love the colour because its like a pale pink and the hat pocket things ( No idea what to call them) fit in well with the winter theme where as they could just be round pockets they have made them look like bobble hats. Overall these would be one thing I'd definetly buy and they sell for £8.90 which I feel is resonable as some are sold for more expensive.

Thanks for reading and hope it helped. I am planning on doing a night version which you shall see soon :)

DIY: Flower Crown

Hi guys so I'm going to briefly explain to you how to make a easy do it yourself flower crown. If I knew I was going to do this blog post I would of included pictures along the way so sorry guys :( but i'll try my best to explain to you how I did it and add pictures at the end of the finished product.
So I think flower crowns are so cute and beautiful for the fall time and also if you just want to do a fancy dress or maybe for a event that's going on. When I wore mine it reminded me of a bridesmaid haha. They are super cute and adorable to wear not forgetting easy!
So here's what you will need:
-thread
-needle
-flowers (I used some from my garden and cut some off but you could use artificial ones or anything like Daisy's will work as well)

So first what you do is get all your flowers, like I said I cut mine from the garden. Mine were pink and all pretty much the same size but I think it would look even more adorable if you also used leaves, Daisy's, different sized flowers but that's all your choice.
So get your needle and thread and measure it round your head to fit.
Once you done that cut it and tie on to needle like usual.
Then start threading it through the middle of the flowers and keep on going until your flower crown is completed. It's easy as that! I alternated the flowers as well so some were facing each other and some weren't as it gave it a better realistic effect. Make sure to tie it as well so you can pop it on your head afterwards.
So I hope you understand as they are honestly super easy to do and fun to make. You could also use it to tie round a bun as that also looks nice. :)
And another idea is to instead of cutting it tie a knot at the end instead and let it be one long string and do a plait in you hair whilst clipping it at the top and plaiting it in with the flowers. This look will look amazing with someone with longer hair.
So thanks for reading! Hope you make one as sometimes Claire's and other places like Topshop are quite expensive just for a headband when you can make one instead.

Topshop makeup

So I'm going to be talking about topshops makeup range and everything about them. So topshop have a large range of makeup considering its a clothes shop not a makeup shop and I think have over time become more and more popular as they bring out new shades all the time. Makeup they sell are:
-lipsticks (from nudes,to corals, to dark tones)
-lipgloss or lip cream (similar to the lipstick shades)
-lip paint
-lip crayons

-lip liners
-lip balms
Next are:
-brow pencils (light to dark brown)
-liquid eyeliners (black, dark colours)
-eye shadow pallets (trios and singles are available)
-eyeshadow
-eye crayon
Face makeup:
-blush (cream)
-glow highlighters
-bronzers (natural glow)
-face wipes
And them finally they have:
-nail polish (lots of different shades it's just a matter of finding the right one for you!)
So there are just some of the makeup they have from quickly looking on the website. Obviously they will have more in the shops but you will probably get a better deal online. I'm not going to go in great detail as that would take me a long time but in my opinion I think the lipsticks, lip crayons, and nail polishes are the best from here. I think nail polishes are good because there is such a huge range of colours and go on very well and look amazing with two coats and a clear varnish over it. And I think lipsticks and lip crayons are good because zoella (from youtube) always buys them and I think one of her favourites is Brighton rock which is a really nice dark red colour. Zoella also has a favourites page/list on topshop that you can take a look at and the link will be in one of her videos. Prices range from £1.25-£16 pounds but lipsticks are £8 and nail polishes are £6. So I really think you should take a look as there's loads to choose from!
