Favourite lipbalms and Liptints

I wanted to do a blog post on my favourite lipbalms and liptints. I have chosen a few to share.

1. Rimmel London 1,000 kisses lip tint.
This is my favourite liptint ever. Mainly, because its the first one I owned. It comes in many colours and I love the fact that they are like a pen because I dont have any other lipsticks like that.
I also love the fact that there is a lipbalm on the end. It has both of the things I am reviewing. The lip balm is moisterising which makes you lips feel softer and it also gives the liptint a shine. The liptint completely changes the colour of your lips and makes them a strong colour. As some liptints don't completely show up.

2. Benetint
The problem with alot of beauty products is the price.
And that is one of the problems with this. For the liptint in a tub it is £24.50 from debenhams and for it in a stick its £15.50, which is still pretty expensive. However, Benefit is a good brand and defenetly worth checking out as I reckon this product is really good. It does exactly what ismeant to and it also has an extra. It can be used on your cheeks as a Lip and Cheeks stain. I personally would say it is not for me because of the price but if cheaper. I would buy it any day.

3. The Body Shop - Born Lippy Pot Lipbalm.
This lip balm also comes in stick form and many flavours. I have seen this product so much and It smells sooo nice. Jane has the strawberry one I think and I know that it mkes your lips soft and smelling amazing. It doesnt actually put colour on your lips but that could be classed as a good thing as that is what Lipstick and Lipgloss is for. But then some people might be looking for a Lipbalm with a colour to the lips so if so this isnt for you. I do suggest though you give this a try. Its crazy amazing and only £2.00! Which is so much more cheaper than drugstore lipbalms like Revlon and Maybelline.

4. Carmex
Carmex is a lipbalm you see everywhere like Superdrug, BodyCare and probably boots.
It is a lipbalm so many people have been known to like and with their opinion I suggest you give it a try and see what you think. It comes in pots, tubes and sticks in soo many flavours like peach, strawberry, cherry and more! It is also cheap as at superdrug it is £2.55 which is over The Body Shops prices but still just as good.

I hope this has given you an Idea on the different lip balms and lip tints out there. You should try them and see what you think. Comment below and tell me your favourite Lipbalms and Liptints.
Thanks.

Review on models own nail varnish

So I'm gonna do a quick review on models own nail varnishes. I own one of these as I picked one up at the Birmingham fashion show last year and I'm officially in love with it. I have red alert And it's basically a bright red colour. It's so pretty and goes on your nails really well. You only need to put one layer on and it comes out looking really well and shiny. The best thing about models own though is that all there products never fail and are really worth the money. They have a massive range of nail varnishes and also sell loads of other makeup products and makeup brushes. They have also recently brought out wonderland and glitter nail varnishes that look so nice! They have a shimmer to the colour and are bright and bold. I'm also liking there fruity flavour lip balms there selling for only £4.00 and they always have sales on and not forgetting offers. At the moment there offers are buy 3 and save £3.00 and buy 5 save £7.00! So I really think you should give this brand a try if not already. They also sell box sets of nail varnishes of your choice for £20.00 and have a great range of beetle juice nail varnishes with lots of trendy colours and also sell neon colours that look amazing! There normal range nail varnishes cost £5.00 and in my oppinion are worth it! They also sell a gorgeous bright pink lipstick with a vinilla flavour scent! I also own one of there nail art pens in black and are surprisingly very easy to use and go really well with the red varnish. They sell lots of other nail art pens in different colours for only £6.00 so there worth having a go as well. All of these products I have included above can be find on the website below.
I absolutely love this brand and is worth finding out about

Hair dye disaster?

Hate it when you get a hairdye disaster by getting it all over the top of your head? Then I'm here to give one simple tip which is cheap and easy and takes seconds to do. So basically all you need is some Vaseline which can be picked up from any common drugstore for about 75p for a tin. All you do is put a bit on your finger before your about to dye your hair and rub it all over the part of your head were you think you will accidentally get hair dye all over. After you done rubbing it on the top parts of your head (near your hair area) and also maybe behind your ears or on your neck then your ready to start applying your desired hair dye. What is so good about this tip is that because your applying Vaseline to your head before using hair dye it will be easier to take off from your head as all you need to do is wipe it off with a wet cloth and then your done!
So here you go that my tip for if you ever have a hair dye disaster feel free to check out me and Amber's YouTube channel MsBeautyInTheMakingx
Thanks x

Tips for greasy hair

So I decided to make a blog post on this subject as I think nearly everyone hates having a bad hair day. Especially when your hair gets all greasy after a day or two so here are some cheap, easy tips on how you can make your hair looking fresh as ever and withought it getting greasy quickly.
First tip is to go to the shops to get some baby powder. My friend introduced me to this method and acually it really does work! Baby powder is really easy to find and always cheap to buy as you dont even need to buy a brand such as Johnsons Baby as any baby powder will do. What you do is just use it like a dry shampoo and put a little in your hands and work it through your hair where it gets greasy the most such as your roots at the front of your head. After that just brush through with a comb or brush and there you go! Hopefully it should get away the greasy look and also smells really nice too.

Next tip would be to invest in some dry shampoo. I love dry shampoo as it acually works and I use the Batiste range which are really good. I have the tropical scent and is really worth trying and having ago. Some smell better than other so you can experiment which one suits you and also they have a wide range of dry shampoos. There cheap looking around £1.20 for a medium sized bottle but they sell small bottles for testers in case you dont like the product but I really think this product works really well with any hair type and great for if your in a rush.
What you do is just spray it directly to your hair a few centimeters apart and then brush it through and thats it! you can really tell the diffrence with your hair after and before so i reccomend you give this product ago.
Other tips on how to make your hair not as greasy is to make sure you dont straighten your hair all the time as it can bring split ends and also because you touching your hair it brings more grease in the process. Also brushing you hair too much can bring on grease as your touching your hair all the time and make sure you Don't over-brush your hair as brushing is stimuli to the oil glands and this is likely to increase oil production. Using a good condition once a week can always work as well, and once a week will help from not over moisturising. A good conditioner I like to use is the Aussie 3 Minuit miracle for long hair. All of the Aussie products smell so nice and your hair will be left feeling fresh and softer as ever.So I hoped these tips have helped you with how to get your hair not as greasy and also feel free to check out mine and Ambers YouTube channel as we do lots of reviews on makeup and hair products and we would love it to see what you think of them. Thanks x

Favourite eyeshadow palettes!

So recently my friend amber has been really into eyeshadow palettes and I really think you should give them a try too! There really good as the last for ages and you can pick up some really cheap palettes not forgetting really good ones from places like boots and super drug. Here are a couple of palettes that I think are worth trying or testing as they are worth the money and have a great colour range.

First one has to be the colour works London eyeshadow palette. Amber has this palette and I think it's so totally good. The colours are so pigmented not forgetting some have a slight shimmer to the eyeshadow but some are abit more matted. Unfortunately SuperDrug don't sell this product anymore but if you type in google the make of it your sure to find the palette on there website. They colours are so pigmented and they last for about ever so I think it's well worth investing in one of these.

My second eyeshadow palette would be the Rimmel London Union Jack eyeshadow palette and also the Rimmel London glam eyes traffic stopping eye shadow. I choose these two because they have a wide range of colours and great for doing the smoky eye effect. The prices range from £3.99 - £6.49 and these can be picked up from SuperDrug. I would say the Union Jack is more like a palette rather than the glam eyes but the glam eyes eyeshadow is great for smoky eyes as you can wet the the eyeshadows if desired or just use like a normal shadow. I recommend you buy these as Rimmel London products are always the best and there such a good colour range and can be picked up cheaply from places like b&m.

Next product would have to be the MUA pro glamour eyes eyeshadow palette. I extremely love this product as its so cheap but the actual product itself is really good. SuperDrug sell this product for £4.00 for a palette of 12 and £8.00 for a palette of 21! You get so many colour for only £8.00 and are really similar to the colour works eyeshadow palette. The colours range from bright to earthy tones and are good for blending. If your looking for a palette that isn't too expensive yet you get a lot, this is the product for you! MUA is another alternative to a product such as rimmel London or max factor.

Another palette I'm really liking at the moment is the sleek makeup divine 12 piece shadow collection. I really like this product as they sell I think 3 other colour palettes in more of a earthy colour but the colours are really pigmented and smooth. They go on really well with the other colours  that come with the product and is another alternative to a eye palette such as the MUA. The only down side to this product is that it's more expensive than the others with the price of £8.99 but apart from that the product is really good and sleek make a lot of other great palettes. They also name the palettes and my favourite would have to be the storm palette.

My last eyeshadow palette I think is good is the beautyuk eyeshadow palette. Like the sleek they give different names to there palettes and I think my favourite will have to be the soho and the glitz palette. The soho palette is just so vibrant and colourful and the price of this product is so cheap! It's only £3.99 for a palette of 10 so it's the cheapest palette out of all of the palettes. I have never come across this brand before but I think I'm going to start using them more. There products are so good and cheap so it's not to hard to afford. It gives a fresh matt look and is also featured in vogue so I think if you have never given this product ago then I recommend you give it a try.

So here you go there's my top eyeshadow palettes I think are really good at the moment and are really easy to find. You can grab them from places such as SuperDrug or boots and are worth giving a go!

Spoilt Brat - Get the same items as the celebs

I recently saw this amazing website where you can buy items that celebrities have and have been seen wearing them. I was looking through and I saw so many stuff I'd love to buy. The good thing is it isn't too expensive.
I saw a ring that I have seen Pixie Lott wearing in one of her music videos. I cant really discribe the ring but It has a letter and a small number in the corner.
Pixie lotts has a P and a 3. Jessie J also has one with a J but I don't know the number.
When you buy one you can choose a letter and a size.
The ring is only £6.00 but I reckon the shipping/ delivery will cost.
There are more things and you can search according to the celebrity like Beyonce, Rihanna, Jessie J etc. Or the type of clothing item Ring, T-shirt, Shorts etc.
I really reckon you check this website out because It is pretty amazing and I am hoping to purchase something from there pretty soon.
Comment below if you have bought any of the items and tell me the Celebrity(s).

Top 5 clothes shops for teens

1. number one has to be Primark because it's so cheap and nearly everyone I know has atleast shopped in there either once or a hundred times so i really enjoy shopping in there. The one I go to is in the St. Georges Shopping Centre in Preston which is fairly big with a upstairs and a downstairs. Upstairs sell kids clothes, bags, jewellery, hair bobbles, clips ect, and also makeup bags and some makeup such as nail varnishes, liquid eyeliners. Downstairs sell adult clothes from sizes 6 and up and also mens clothes. The also sell underwear downstairs and pjamas so basically everything you need to buy in a shop clothes wise. Its not expensive and usually when I go into primark I never fail to buy what im looking for.
here is the logo:

Website: Primark dont have a website.
2. Number two has to be newlook even though its not as cheap as Primark in my opinion they have a better range of teen clothes and arn't too expensive either probably looking at £6.00 or 7.00 for a t-shirt, but they,re online clothes are always the best. I always shop at New Look as it's a great place to go to buy teen clothes as they have a wide range and New Look are very well known. I mainly love the shirts and jeans from there as sometimes shops sell jeans that dont quite fit when you get the size your looking for e.g Primark jeans sometimes dont fit as well as others, but I find New Look jeans are really comftable and fit really well not forgetting there not to expensive. I know loads of people who shop here and maybe you should give it a try to!
They always have sales on at christmas and diffrent seasons of clothing are always out.
Here is the logo:

website:http://www.newlook.com/

3. Number three would be River Island. River Island is quite expensive compared to the others but sell really nice, fashionable clothes. If I ever shop here its to get t-shirts and leggings and they sell some teen clothes even though not as many as newlook and primark. They sell really nice shoes that are gorgeous, but like I said before the only down side to this shop is that its expensive compaired to the others. Apart from that its a really amazing shop to go to as there clothes are so unique.
Here is the logo:

Website:http://www.riverisland.com/

4. My fourth shop will have to be h&m. The great thing about h&m is that its not too expensive but the clothes they sell are ever so good! Theres a wide range of clothes with loads off diffrent styles so theres a garentee that you will find something that you will like. They sell mens, womens and kids clothes and even though I dont buy many clothes from this shop than I would with the others, I always go into the shop whenever im in town to look around. I have bought shirts from there in the past and are really good and well made. If your a teen like me your sure to find something in there that you will like.
Here is the logo:

Website:http://www.hm.com/gb/

5. Finally the last shop I think is really good to buy clothes from is topshop. I choose topshop becuae I love the clothes they sell there even though there more expensive than h&m. Topshop also sell really good makeup such as there lipsticks and nail varnishes. Zoella from youtube really loves these products and so do I! They're so nice and your bound to find something you really like in Topshop like a bag or a t-shirt. Don't let the prices put you off. I went into the sales at christmas and fell in love with these leggings they sold for about £7.00. They where super soft and worth investing in some for the chilly winters.

Eyeshadow Colour tips

I wanted to do a bit on about the colour's that go well together for eyeshadow. Obviously, there are way more combinations than the ones I am going to mention but I am going to write colours that go together in 3's.

1. For a bright daytime look there are quite a few combinations.
Blue, Green and white.
Bright Pink, Pale Pink and white.
Red, Orange, Yellow.
There are many more but these combinations I have seen work really well. I have tried a few and I think these are great colours to use on a sunny day or when you feel you want to wear these types of colours.

2. For dark colours say at night time or for a smokey eyed look.
Black, Grey and White.
Dark Blue, Light Blue and White.
Dark Brown, Gold and, Light Brown - This colour Is also good for Parties.
Another good eyeshadow combination could be:
Black, Silver and white.
Obviously there are many more combinations that look good together and you can use more or less than 3 colours.

Beauty Bargin Of The Week/ BBOTW

I don't actually own this product but this is one of the bargin products I have seen today.
A company called FashionistA have some Magnetism Nail Polish sponsered by The Saturdays. 1 bottle is only £3. Personally I have never heard of this brand till now but I saw it on the website of Superdrug and it is defenetly a bargin!

These are the instructions for the Nail Polish.
Create Amazing nail effects with the new Magnetism Nail Lacquer.

1.Shake the bottle to awaken the Magnetism.

2.Apply two coats of Magnetism Nail Lacquer – apply one coat to all nails first and allow to dry, then apply your second coat to each individual nail.

3.Hover magnetised nail magnet (sold separately) over the nail, whilst the second coat is wet. Hold for approximate 8 seconds until you get the desired effect. ( I think its kind of stupid that the magnet is sold seperatley).

For best results and prolonged wear apply Fashionista top coat.

Una says: '‘The FashionistA green nail lacquer is amazing! It is the perfect shade for all you other nail polish addicts out there.’

Each of The Saturdays have a different colour and I think you should check it out. They can be bought from superdrug

Review on a Primark bag

A couple of weeks ago I went out to my local Primark to get a new bag as my other one had broke.
Im quite lucky as the Primark I go to is fairly big so I dont have to travel that far to get to it, however what I mostly love about Primark is that its just so cheap! You can literally buy a top for a fiver. So this is the reason I thought I'd pop into Primark to get a new bag because I knew I would be able to pick one up really cheaply. The one I went for was a shoulder bag that was fairly big which I love about it. The colour I choose was a cream colour but I recommend that if you don't want your bag to get dirty quickly there where other colours to go for such as teel (which is a dark blue shade), and black. I opted for the cream colour as it went with my school jacket the best, but all the colours that they had in where really nice expecially the teel.
As you can see from the picture it has two handles to hold for when you fancy carrying it around like a handbag, but also it had a long shoulder strap that can be used for when you dont fancy carrying it around on your shoulder all day as it can maybe sometimes get in the way. I use my bag with the shoulder strap because it makes it easier for me to put in books and my lunch quick and easily so I just let the handles fall to the side of my bag as I like it this way, but you can have it absolutley anyway you like.
Its so easy to carry around and so spacious this is what really brought me to the bag itself.

This is what the bag itself looks like in a close up and I just love the gorgeous colour of it. What I also love about this bag is that it has gold detailing on the bag and it really suits it with the colour cream. I can also fit a A4 size book in here so if your looking for a bag that has lots of room, and space inside this is the bag for you!

This is just another picture of the bag in a close up with its shoulder strap hung up on my wardrobe.
The bag has two front facing pockets where it gives even more space to it and also is great for just adding small items to your bag such as keys, purse, notepad or book ect.
It gives a really nice finish to the bag making it look more stylish for a night out or  just to carry round like a handbag as I said earlier. Or if you dont fancy having the shoulder strap on you can unclip it off the the gold clips that come with the bag design.

So there you go this is my review on my primark bag I bought from a couple of weeks ago. It was £9.00 as is totally worth it so i think if your a person that is in need for a new bag come and pop round to primark as they have a wide range of bags and also other designs not just this one. What I also liked was this other bag with a similar colour but had a zip bit that flipped over at the front which was also only £9.00. I was with a friend when looking at the other bag.
I give this bag a 10/10 as its stylish, the colours are so nice, and its so spacious so its worth buying one.
Hoped you liked my review

Lip Tattoos

I love the Idea of Lip Tattoos and you see alot of celebrities with them on in music videos and for photoshoots.
I have discovered the most popular website for Lip Tattoos
Violent Lips.
Its a shop that sell a huge range of lip tattoos from patterns to Gems on the lips
I have never tried them myself but they look so cool!!
The problem with the store is that it is in America but I think It does ship to England. However, It is the one of many companies that do these and they will probably be sold in stores like Superdrug and Boots.
Jessie J is one of the celebrities seen with Lip Tattoos.
Get out there and try them! They Rock!

Eye Shadow Effects

On my last post you will see that I showed you how to do an effect. But sometimes the best effects come from experimenting. All you need is:
*A Mascara
*An Eyeliner
*A few shades of Eyeshadow.

Use lots of different colours from Darks to Lights, and Bolds to Brights.
I made a collage of eye shadow effects to give you an Idea of the type of things you can come up with.
Experiment and have fun!

A perfect Winged Eyeshadow Look

Achieving the perfect winged eyeshadow look is quite easy. You just have to follow a few simple steps. The trick is in using the right brushes.

1. First, it is very important to prime your eyelids using a good eye primer.

2. Apply a soft shimmery eyeshadow starting from the inner corner of the eyes and taking it all over the lid using a large eyeshadow brush.

3. Take a medium tone colour and start applying it with a small shadow brush, starting from the tear duct, as you would apply eyeliner, and sweep it softly to create a v winged look, well blended into the crease.

4. Take a dark colour, black if you want a dark smoky wing, and with an angled eyeliner brush, draw a line straight across your lid up to the corner of your eyebrow. Remember to follow your natural lower lash line.

5. Using the same brush, start shading the wing in downwards strokes, and sweep it on your lash line till the tear duct.

6. Blend in the shades for a softer look, or leave as it is for a bold sultry look.

7. Line your lower lash line with gel eyeliner using an angled eyeliner brush.

8. Tightline your upper lash line with an eyeliner pencil.

9. Apply gel eyeliner on upper lash line.

10. Sweep a few generous coats of mascara to add volume and length.

11. Finish by adding false lashes. You can also skip this step.

Best concealers

There are lots of concealers out there that can be worth the money and lots that cant but why choose a concealer?
Concealers are great to use for covering up spots and blimeshes quick and easy and usually you can grab some great drug store ones really cheaply!
Another reason for investing in one of these is that sometimes when your in a rush like me before school or even work concealers are quick and easy to use when on the go so you can pop some in your school or handbag and take out whenever desired.
here are some good concealers that i think are really good and not to expensive to buy and great on covering up spots and blemishes quickly. Some will be liquid and some will be stick concealers.

1. firstly i think collection 2000 is a really good concealer to buy as it quickly hides away dark under eyes, also bloggers and other youtubers usually go on about how good the product is and personally I totally agree! Its £4.99 and is totally worth it. Its a liquid concealer and pretty good considering its by Collection 2000 as people have said that the foundation that goes with it isnt actually all that good. You can pick this product up from Superdrug and also other drug stores aroung e.g boots and also tesco or somewhere where they sell a good range of makeup.

2. Would be the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer. I choose this one as its supposed to be really good on the skin and easy to use as this also is a liquid concealer. In my opinion I think in some ways its quite similar to the collection 2000 but Rimmel London products are ever so good and most of there products never fail to be a let down. Rimmel London have made lots of other concealers in the past but this one is there first full coverage concealer that risibly reawakens under eyes. This product instently covers up dark circles under your eyes but the only down side to this product is that its a bit more expensive than the collection 2000 one. Its £5.49 from Superdrug. This product can also be bought with the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation.

 3. My last product I recommend is the MUA pro concealer kit. What I really love about this concealer kit is that you get 3 concealer shades all in one pallet for only £3.99! Its worth the money and MUA is another great alternative to a product such as Rimmel London or Maybelline as they do coversticks that are quite expensive. Athough its not a high end brand its really good for the money as it perfectly blends and easy to use as camouflage for almost any skin imperfection including blemishes, scars, birthmarks and under eye circles. Also contains highlighting cream to transform your complexion with luminescent shimmer. The packaging its really nice and is just about small enough to fit in any handbag. Applying this product with a sponge always brings best results. This product can be found in Superdrug.

So I hope you enjoyed my blog post on what I think are the best concealers to use at the moment and like I said these can be picked up at any common drug store.
Thanks x
