Tips for greasy hair

So I decided to make a blog post on this subject as I think nearly everyone hates having a bad hair day. Especially when your hair gets all greasy after a day or two so here are some cheap, easy tips on how you can make your hair looking fresh as ever and withought it getting greasy quickly.
First tip is to go to the shops to get some baby powder. My friend introduced me to this method and acually it really does work! Baby powder is really easy to find and always cheap to buy as you dont even need to buy a brand such as Johnsons Baby as any baby powder will do. What you do is just use it like a dry shampoo and put a little in your hands and work it through your hair where it gets greasy the most such as your roots at the front of your head. After that just brush through with a comb or brush and there you go! Hopefully it should get away the greasy look and also smells really nice too.

Next tip would be to invest in some dry shampoo. I love dry shampoo as it acually works and I use the Batiste range which are really good. I have the tropical scent and is really worth trying and having ago. Some smell better than other so you can experiment which one suits you and also they have a wide range of dry shampoos. There cheap looking around £1.20 for a medium sized bottle but they sell small bottles for testers in case you dont like the product but I really think this product works really well with any hair type and great for if your in a rush.
What you do is just spray it directly to your hair a few centimeters apart and then brush it through and thats it! you can really tell the diffrence with your hair after and before so i reccomend you give this product ago.
Other tips on how to make your hair not as greasy is to make sure you dont straighten your hair all the time as it can bring split ends and also because you touching your hair it brings more grease in the process. Also brushing you hair too much can bring on grease as your touching your hair all the time and make sure you Don't over-brush your hair as brushing is stimuli to the oil glands and this is likely to increase oil production. Using a good condition once a week can always work as well, and once a week will help from not over moisturising. A good conditioner I like to use is the Aussie 3 Minuit miracle for long hair. All of the Aussie products smell so nice and your hair will be left feeling fresh and softer as ever.So I hoped these tips have helped you with how to get your hair not as greasy and also feel free to check out mine and Ambers YouTube channel as we do lots of reviews on makeup and hair products and we would love it to see what you think of them. Thanks x
