Keeping Warm Essentials: Night time

As you might already know, yesterday I created a Day time keeping warm essentials blog post and I had ideas of connecting these together until I had more ideas than expected. I think this one will be more useful so please read on if you would like any of these things or want to know what to need.

1. Onsie
Rhonda Leorpard Print Contrast Trim Hooded Onesie. - £15.00, Boohoo.com

Boohoo.com have the widest range of onesies and I think winter is the perfect season. You don't need to worry about getting too hot and having nothing on underneathe (although toileting might be a problem). Also Leopard is my favourite 'animal print'! I just think onesies are so much fun and ridiculously comfortable so yeah, perfect for keeping warm. If you want any animal onesies then I do recommend BooHoo.com as although they aren't the cheapest of all, they have everthing from a Giraffe, Pink Rabbits and Tabby Cats, obviously including more.

2. Slipper Socks
Cotton Rick Reindeer Terry Slipper Socks - £6.00, M&S

I use to wear Slipper Socks all the time and they are perfect for not only walking in but unlike slippers you can sleep in them (I suppose you can sleep in slippers if they dont come off before the morning). I think these are suprisingly cheap for M&S as I have seen that somethings can be quite expensive. Honestly, They aren't something I'd wear out or anything but to wear in I think they are fine as the most important part is that they are warm! Some people though might see the Reindeer as cute and it excites me even more for Christmas!

3. Hot Water Bottle
Vagabond Spot Flece Roll Top Hot Water Bottle - £16.00, John Lewis.

Hot Water Bottles are obviously a great idea during winter and I personally think they are really important! It isn't the most exciting designs but I struggled finding good covers and John Lewis is very expensive. This is the cover and the hot water bottle together though as some websites just sell covers but hot water bottles can be bought at most supermarkets if you are looking.

4. Dressing Gowns
Supersoft hooded dressing gown, Cerise (colour) - £14, Asda

These dressing gowns are literally perfection and I do own one myself! Unfortunatley mine is brown as most colours were sold out at the time but I dont mind too much as its the warmest thing in the world and maybe the best thing I've ever bought! They are supersoft so way softer than any other dressing gown and well worth the price!!! They come in all colours from white to a turqoisey blue and all as comfortable as each other. I think dressing gowns are important in winter as it could be a cold morning and they tend to keep you warm!

I know this has been a very long post but I hope this did come useful to you! I, for one, don't like the weather of winter and to me, keeping warm is really important!
Thanks for reading :)x

Bbotm/Beauty Bargin Of The Month

I don't know about you but I've already started buying christmas presents for my friends and I am pretty excited to give them out. I love buying presents for people! Mainly because its shopping just not for me, which I actually don't mind as I like to think I know my friends pretty well.
I was looking on the Superdrug website for christmas presents earlier this week and there are offers everywhere! (Definitley not why I bought the presents now!) Incase you didn't know, All my friends are girls and most use makeup which is a reason for Superdrug really helping me during the christmas period.

Anyway I found something in the christmas gift section that is perfect for my beauty bargin of the month. I'm not sure it is the cheapest of my bbotm's so far but it definitley is suitable and I think you'll love it!

I Love Mango Mini Box of Love - £3.50

So this is one of my favourite brands because although they are incredibly cheap! It comes with a Body Butter, Bubble bath, Shower Crème and Mini Puff. They are really good quality and smell amazing! Mango and Papaya is definetly my favourite and I think Mango is my favourite smelling fruit! I think £3.50 is a reasonable price for this but It has gone down from £5 so if you do want this, I suggest buying as soon as possible incase the price goes back up!!
Overall I love these products and I think your friends and even family might to. Be sure to check out more products from the christmas range at Superdrug as, like me, you could find it incredibly useful.

Hope you liked :)x

Keeping Warm Essentials: Daytime

So obviously, the season Winter, mainly involves the weather getting colder. I can't really say I enjoy this but I think if Christmas had no cold weather or snow then it wouldn't be the same.
Anyway there are ways to keep warm during winter so that it can be better for you during the day. I was going to do always in general but I feel there is enough to make 2 posts about it.

1. Hat
Now saying this I hate hats. I don't wear them and I don't think I suit them but some hats might look good on you and honestly? I would recommend them though because you shouldn't suffer for fashion. ... Even though I do.

This hat is from River Island and is a Black chain trim beanie hat. It had also been said that Rihanna likes it and I think that beanies are worn by alot of people and look really good. I would suggest beanies to people with long hair but I think it can be for any depending on the way it is worn. I think the chain also shows bling which is an extra accessory to add.

2. Scarf
Scarfs are something that I wear quite alot. I like them in Autumn aswell as Winter and I think they are a nice accessory that also has a good use other than looking good. I like buying scarfs mainly from Primark but seeing as Primark dont have a website I decided to choose Topshop as they also have a good range.

This is a Super Fluffy Scarf for £16.00  from Topshop that I think is great for winter. With it being super fluffy, I think it would be soft which is important because it would be warmer and more comfortable on the skin. It is a plain black scarf but can still be effective to wear with outfits but can also make it easier to fit and look okay. It could be considered expensive but similar scarfs can be bought at shops such as Primark and New Look.

3. Gloves

These gloves are from Forever 21 and I just think they are so cute! I like gloves with open fingers as it makes them more practical and I have noticed in the passed that some gloves make touch screen phones harder to use. I love the colour because its like a pale pink and the hat pocket things ( No idea what to call them) fit in well with the winter theme where as they could just be round pockets they have made them look like bobble hats. Overall these would be one thing I'd definetly buy and they sell for £8.90 which I feel is resonable as some are sold for more expensive.

Thanks for reading and hope it helped. I am planning on doing a night version which you shall see soon :)

Welcome to Winter

Winter is one of my favourite seasons. I think apart from the weather there is nothing bad about it. I have never really realised how much I end up missing Christmas! I feel happier at Christmas so for it to now be November I am pretty excited!

I guess I've been ready for Christmas way too early though as 2 weeks ago there was Christmas decorations up at a local garden centre. Although I knew there was still a while of a wait nothing stopped me from excitment but I know that now its officially allowed. Anyway I'll be doing alot of christmasy posts aswell as the usual monthly ones and maybe even hauls but I just wanted to update and write something for the occasion to come. Amber xxxx

DIY: Flower Crown

Hi guys so I'm going to briefly explain to you how to make a easy do it yourself flower crown. If I knew I was going to do this blog post I would of included pictures along the way so sorry guys :( but i'll try my best to explain to you how I did it and add pictures at the end of the finished product.
So I think flower crowns are so cute and beautiful for the fall time and also if you just want to do a fancy dress or maybe for a event that's going on. When I wore mine it reminded me of a bridesmaid haha. They are super cute and adorable to wear not forgetting easy!
So here's what you will need:
-thread
-needle
-flowers (I used some from my garden and cut some off but you could use artificial ones or anything like Daisy's will work as well)

So first what you do is get all your flowers, like I said I cut mine from the garden. Mine were pink and all pretty much the same size but I think it would look even more adorable if you also used leaves, Daisy's, different sized flowers but that's all your choice.
So get your needle and thread and measure it round your head to fit.
Once you done that cut it and tie on to needle like usual.
Then start threading it through the middle of the flowers and keep on going until your flower crown is completed. It's easy as that! I alternated the flowers as well so some were facing each other and some weren't as it gave it a better realistic effect. Make sure to tie it as well so you can pop it on your head afterwards.
So I hope you understand as they are honestly super easy to do and fun to make. You could also use it to tie round a bun as that also looks nice. :)
And another idea is to instead of cutting it tie a knot at the end instead and let it be one long string and do a plait in you hair whilst clipping it at the top and plaiting it in with the flowers. This look will look amazing with someone with longer hair.
So thanks for reading! Hope you make one as sometimes Claire's and other places like Topshop are quite expensive just for a headband when you can make one instead.
Remember to check out mine and Amber's channel MsBeautyInTheMakingx
Thanks Jane xxxx

BBOTM/Beauty Bargin Of The Month

I'm hoping you have all seen One Directions new make-up at Superdrug! Cos if you haven't... Well you should! They teamed up with MUA to release them and I am hoping to buy it all (Or at least all of Harry's ;D) No suprise what my BBOTM will be this month then??....

...OTHER THAN A ONE DIRECTION NAIL POLISH!!!
1D Nail Polish Little Things Fuschia Frenzy Harry
So I do think Harry was thinking of me when he chose this colour as I do love pink!! 💕
I am quite excited to get this but I'm not sure if the nail polish is also teamed up with MUA or sold as their own? Either way all One Direction makeup are only on sale for £3.00 and each band member have their on shade of each make-up items so I don't care if its goth purple or Yellow that looks like puke (They aren't btw) if it's Harry's I'll buy it!!

I hope you will buy your own and I suggest checking it out online as there is plenty to choose from and lots you might like! Thank you for reading and comment below if you are a Directioner like me! Don't forget to check us out on Youtube Msbeautyinthemakingx 💕
